After three races on the Wednesday night (Nov. 2) harness racing card at Flamboro Downs, on-track conditions prompted officials to abandon the remaining eight races on the program.
Flamboro released a statement regarding its decision to cancel racing:
“For safety concerns due to extreme dense fog in the Hamilton/Dundas area, the AGCO Judges ā in consultation with horsepersons representative Paul MacKenzie and Flamboro management ā have made the decision to cancel the remainder of this evening’s race card after race 3.”
Racing resumes at Flamboro Downs on Thursday (Nov. 3) with a 10-race card that starts at 6:35 p.m. (EDT).
