Flight Landing (Tactical Landing), who finished third in the Bluegrass and International Stallion at two, scored his first victory at three on Thursday (Jun. 13) at Woodbine Mohawk Park in a lifetime-best harness racing performance.
He sat the three-hole until Tyler Jones slid him off the cones approaching three-quarters. Flight Landing rolled to the front by mid-stretch and drew clear by a length-and-a-half for the 1:53.4 victory. Craigieburn (Louis-Philippe Roy) made ground late for place. The Canam Banker (Tyler Borth) was third. The winner went off at 12-1.

Flight Landing is now two-for-11 with $53,130 in earnings. The colt finished sixth in his seasonal debut on May 12 and was a closing fourth in last weekās start. The Dustin Jones trainee also reached the final of the Millard Farms as a freshman. Dustin Jones Stables and Herbert Horses co-bred Flight Landing and share ownership with Jean Pierre Barjon.
Roy won four of the nightās 10 races.
