With the Pick 5 pool having expanded to over $62,000 and a guaranteed Pick 4 carryover pool totaling more than $26,000, there was an inspiring harness racing buzz throughout Fraser Downs Racetrack Friday night (March 31).
It resulted in the highest handle in years at Fraser Downs with an all-association handle of $337,845, leaving President of Harness Racing BC Kelly MacMillan thrilled with what he termed as ārenewed fan engagementā and thanking them for their support.

The mood was set early on Friday nightās 9-race card when Brandon Campbell, Western Canadaās top harness racing driver, continued his fascinating string of victories with Outlaw C My Shadow (Shadow Play) trained and co-owned by Connie Kolthammer of Outlaw West Stable.
Campbell drove Outlaw C My Shadow to a ninth consecutive Open Handicap victory in Fridayās fourth race.Ā Campbell is the leading driver during the spring season at Fraser Downs with 60 wins.
Standardbred racing resumes Thursday and Friday with 7 pm PT / 10 pm ET starts.
