Charlottetown, PE – All Turain, with Corey MacPherson in the bike, won the Sunday afternoon featured event in an impressive 1:56.4 at Red Shores Racetrack & Casino at the Charlottetown Driving Park. All Turain is owned by Lee Hicken, Charlottetown and conditioned by Trevor Hicken.
The victory capped off a four win performance for MacPherson. The young pilot moves up to fifth place in the Charlottetown driver standings with 67 first place finishes on the season. Click K (Ron Matheson) was second with Forever Paradise (Marc Campbell) third. The 5-7-2 triactor paid $54.50 while the superfecta 5-7-2-3 returned $599.60 when First Art Down rallied to finish fourth for Kenny Murphy who recorded a driving double on the day.
Holy Molie Maggie powered past the field to capture the open trot for driver Gary Chappell and owner-trainer Jeff Holmes.
