Gettin Serious (Crazed) was successful in the Preferred Trot at Rideau Carleton Raceway as he became a harness racing centurion on Thursday (Jun. 15).
The gelding and Guy Gagnon controlled the pace, setting :28, :57, and 1:26.3 fractions. Donatover (Stephane Brosseau) made a first-over bid and put the leader under pressure entering the final turn, but Getting Serious put him away to win in 1:56. Donatover was beaten by two lengths. Charlie Bar (Pierre Bovay) finished third.
