CHARLOTTETOWN, PE – Arbitrage Hanover will control his own destiny after drawing the rail for the 66th harness racing edition of the Gold Cup and Saucer, presented by Atlantic Lottery, during the official post position draw during the Tuesday evening program at Red Shores Racetrack and Casino at the Charlottetown Driving Park.
Arbitrage Hanover, an Anthony Stymest trained son of Bettors Wish, was the New Jersey Sires Stakes champion as a sophomore in 2024 and was purchased at the Standardbred Horse Sale last November by Stymest and Nova Scotia partners Ken and Glenn Hardie. He has 10 wins and $455,597 to his credit.
Trial 1 winner Its Major Major A will leave from post 4 in the $100,000 final set for Saturday evening at the historic oval. Freshly minted co-track record holder and Trial 2 winner Miki Shan N has draw post 3.
The 66th edition of the Gold Cup and Saucer will be the final race of Old Home Week 2025.
