The Great Reset (Resolve) pulled off a harness racing upset at 7-1 as the second-longest shot on the board in the Preferred Trot at The Raceway at the Western Fair District on Tuesday (Feb. 13).
Lorne House pulled the gelding first-over coming by the stands and dropped him in behind leader Treasured Tee (Travis Henry) as the three-hole sitter backed up on the backstretch. The Great Reset re-emerged as they rounded the final turn, and he muscled past Treasured Tee to win in 1:59.3. Treasured Tee held second over the closing Bucktober (Tyler Borth).
THE GREAT RESET REPLAY
The Great Reset, whom House trains and co-owns with Chantal Ruijs, is now three-for-five on the season. His Tuesday win was his first at the top Preferred level in his career. The four-year-old has won nine of 45 lifetime starts and has earned $115,785.
The Raceway at the Western Fair District will continue its schedule at 5:50 p.m. EST on Wednesday, Feb. 14.
