Harness News Update: Picks & Analysis for Century Downs July 19th

A nine-dash card full of harness racing action is set for Friday (July 19) at Century Downs. The notable wagers are the Pick 5, which kicks off the card in race one and the $1 minimum Pick 4 which starts in the sixth.

After winning six in a row, Outlaw Spiced Rum (Blue Burner) is moving up to the Fillies & Mares Preferred. The six-year-old mare has been a real good run starting at a $5000 claimer and now being put into the top class. She will have her work cut out for her as her competition will be the toughest she has ever faced and she has drawn into second tier. Travis Ellis is one shy of 40 training wins this year and at 8-1 morning line odds, it wouldn’t be a huge shock. Michael Hennessy will be back in the bike with Outlaw Spiced Rum.
