Harness News Update: Picks and analysis for Georgian Downs June 25th

Georgian Downs will host a eight-dash harness racing card on Tuesday (June 25) evening. A Pick 5 wager with a $1,500 guaranteed pool starts in the very first race and a $.20 minimum Pick 4 starts in the fourth.

An interesting matchup is brewing in the second race. Delightful Magic (Bettors Delight) is coming off a big win in 1:52.1 at Woodbine Mohawk Park. It was his fourth win of the year and the performance was good enough for a new lifetime mark.

The seven-year-old gelding is set to make his 100th career start and is eyeing his 11th lifetime win.  Samuel Fillion will be in the bike for trainer, Terry Gallant. 

DELIGHTFUL MAGIC REPLAY

The 12-year-old St Lads Flirt (Camluck) also lines up in the second and is looking to claim his 45th career victory. He too is coming off a win but he was at Georgian Downs and in 1:56.2. His fastest win time of the year is 1:54.2 at Flamboro Downs and will need to reproduce a similar effort to win. Brett Macdonald has just earned his 100th driving win of the year and will look for more with the Ronald Macdonald-trained  St Lads Flirt.
