Harness News Update: Picks and analysis for Woodbine Mohawk Park March 30th

Harness racing returns to Woodbine Mohawk Park on Saturday (Mar. 31) after enjoying a week off. The feature events are the New Holland Pacing Series Final and the New Holland Trotting Series Final.

A field of ten pacers will battle over the purse of $71,000 in the sixth race. Whichwaytothebeach (Somebeachsomewhere) is the morning line favourite at 5-2. The six-year-old gelding has finished in the top two in five of his seven starts this year. He won the second leg in 1:50.3 after finishing second in the first leg.

WHICHWAYTOTHEBEACH REPLAY

Jilliby Dynamite A (Captaintrecherous) won the first leg in 1:53.1 but he fell to fourth last time. He found the pocket trip in his victory and rallied late to win with a 28.3 last quarter.

Nine trotters have their chance to earn a share of the $70,000 purse in the New Holland Trotting Series Final which goes in the seventh.

Pemberton (Wheeling N Dealin) is the favourite and rightfully so. He finished second in the first leg but won the next leg in 1:55.2. He got away third but made a move to the front and no one could catch him.
