Harry G remained undefeated in the Truro Park Winners Over harness racing class on Sunday as he dueled throughout the back half and prevailed with a new lifetime mark.
Driver Ernest Laffin refused a pocket seat going into the first turn and urged Harry G onto the front in a :28 first quarter mile. Imalookertoo (Daniel Romo) slid out of third while racing towards the half in :58 and pressured the leader. He pulled alongside Harry G at three-quarters in 1:26.1, and the pair matched strides on the final turn.
Harry G resisted the challenge after a quarter of battling and put Imalookertoo away at the head of the stretch en route to a 1:54.2 score. Imalookertoo was a clear second; Rusty Riley (Paul Langille) finished third.
