Hippodrome 3R to add two more Friday cards

Trois-Rivieres, QC – Claude Levesque, Chairman of the Quebec Jockey Club, announced today (Aug 30) that the Quebec Racing Commission has approved two additional Friday harness racing cards at the Hippodrome 3R on September 2nd and 9th.

“Last Friday we handled nearly $110,000 on the ten-race card,” Levesque said. “Our horsemen said they have the horses to fill the cards both Friday and Sunday, so we went to the commission, and they gave us the approvals.”

The draw for Friday’s card will be Wednesday morning and entries must be submitted by 11:00 am. The draw for Sunday’s race card, normally held on Wednesday, will now take place on Thursday morning this week only.

Post time for Friday’s card is 4:00 pm and Sunday’s program begins at 12:00 noon.
