Hollys Treasure (State Treasurer) soared from the pocket to capture the harness racing Preferred Pace at The Raceway at the Western Fair District on Saturday (May 4).
Dan Clements, who won three at Sarnia earlier in the day, sat the mare in the pocket behind Docsphillycheese (Alfie Carroll) through the quarter in :27 and half in :56 with Better Be Gouda (Travis Henry) parked out the whole way.
Better Be Gouda began to flag approaching three-quarters in 1:25.3, and the rest of the backfield was making little progress, leaving Hollys Treasure to pull out and blow by Docsphillycheese and cruise home for the victory in 1:54.3.
Docsphillycheese was three-and-three-quarter lengths beaten in second, holding off show finisher Pembrook Legacy N (Jason Ryan).
HOLLYS TREASURE REPLAY

Garrett Rooneyās two wins on the London card combined with his triple at Hiawatha Horse Park earlier gave him five total tallies.
The Raceway at the Western Fair District will see racing next on Tuesday, May 7 at 5:50 p.m. EDT. A Preferred Trot will lead off the card.
