Hp Mama B (Royalty For Life) won Monday’s (Nov. 28) $34,000 Preferred at Woodbine Mohawk Park in a two-move harness racing effort.

She sprinted to the front from post five to cut the quarter in :27 before letting big favourite Logan Park (Doug McNair) advance to the lead. They travelled to the half in :55.4, and Louis-Philippe Roy popped the pocket with Hp Mama B as they entered the final turn.
Hp Mama B drew level with Logan Park as they hit three-quarters in 1:25 and rolled on in mid-stretch. Logan Park capitulated when he broke stride, and Hp Mama B opened up by two-and-three-quarter lengths and stopped the clock in 1:52.4.
Truffles Too (Trevor Henry) got up for third with Locatelli (James MacDonald) in tow for third.

Hp Mama B is now 16-for-41 lifetime. She moved back to the Benoit Baillargeon barn – that of her breeder – in between starts. Claude Hamel owns the four-year-old that has now earned $552,243.
Woodbine Mohawk Park resumes racing on Thursday, Dec. 1.
