The CPMA would like to remind trainers, owners, veterinarians, and other stakeholders that the Elimination Guidelines (EG) for isoflupredone changed as of April 3, 2023.Ā The change is detailed in the table below.Ā Testing protocols for isoflupredone have been adjusted accordingly.
Only the EGs currently published on the CPMA’s website should be relied on when making treatment decisions for a racehorse.
The CPMA strongly recommends that you consult your veterinarian on any decision to administer supplements or medications to a racehorse.
