J One Twenty (Artspeak) won her 13th race of the harness racing season and set a new mark as she blew away her three-year-old pacing filly rivals in the Niagara Series second leg on a cold and snowy Friday night (Dec. 16) at Woodbine Mohawk Park.
The trip was straightforward ā Scott Young pointed the filly to the front, which she attained early and paced panels of :27, :57, and 1:26.3. She fully opened the throttle turning for home and charged home to a five-and-three-quarter length victory in 1:55.3. Queen Of Soul (Bob McClure) out-finished Maddigal (James MacDonald) for place.
