Harness racing trainer Jodie Cullen surpassed $10 million in career earnings with back-to-back wins at Flamboro Downs on Thursday (May 16).
With just over $5,000 to go entering the night, Yourtheone (Shanghai Phil) got the trainer off to a good start. The gelding cut the mile and won comfortably by two-and-a-half lengths in 1:53.2 with Cullenās son, Travis, in the bike. It was a seasonal best for the six-year-old, whom Jodie, Travis, and Ron Cullen own.

Bet The Bb (All Bets Off) then sealed the deal for Jodie Cullen, also going wire-to-wire in a two-and-a-half-length victory in 1:54.1. Travis Cullen, who owns and bred the gelding, drove him to the win. Bet The Bb, a three-year-old gelding, is now nine-for-18 lifetime.

Jodie Cullen began her training career in 1998 and has since raced up 8,014 starts, 1,354 wins, and $10,004,715 in earnings. She started in her native Manitoba before moving to Ontario in 2018. The trainer broke personal bests in wins, starts, and earnings in 2023, racking up 200 victories in a year for the first time.
She has Blue Hunt in Sundayās $263,000 Charles Juravinski Memorial Cup, the signature race at Flamboro Downs.
