Kashe defeated feature harness racing foes at Clinton Raceway by double-digit lengths on Sunday for her first win in nine starts on the season.
She lagged several lengths behind the starting gate and spotted her five opponents a sizable advantage early. Reinsman J. Bradley Harris pushed the mare to close the gap and used her momentum to roll first-over at the quarter mile marker in :30.2. Kashe produced second-quarter speed to make the lead by the midpoint in 1:01.2 and kept the gas pedal down into the payoff half.
The daughter of Justice Hall kicked away to a six-length advantage at three-quarters in 1:31.3 and widened her margin to ten-and-a-half lengths as she crossed the finish line a winner in 2:00.2. Iam What I Am (Tyler Moore) won the race for second over Hometown Boyz (Natasha Day), who finished third.
