Kiss Me Im Irish (Big Jim) went from fifth to first in the stretch to win her second straight harness racing Winners Over at Northside Downs on Saturday (May 27) at Northside Downs.
Adam Lynk swung the mare three-wide on cover going to three-quarters as Rockemsockem Scott (John Kennedy) and Gentry Seelster (Mark Pezzarello) battled on the front. Kiss Me Im Irish was still fifth and four-wide entering the lane, but the mare shifted into another gear and roared by her rivals to capture the feature in 1:59.3. Mando Fun (Ryan Campbell) closed with her but had to take second. Rockemsockem Scott held onto third.
