After setting a personal best last week at Exhibition Park Raceway, Little Manny looks to take Saturday’s top class in harness racing action in Saint John, N.B presented by Horse Racing New Brunswick.
In line to Stephen Trites, the four-year-old son of Articulator established a new lifetime best on the pace last week with a sizzling trip of 1:56.3. Owned by Dean & Brad McLaughlin, Mark Taylor and trainer/ driver Trites, he has two wins, a second and third in four starts this season.
Purchased as a yearling for just $ 2500, the small but speedy pacer has over $ 28,000 in lifetime earnings in just two seasons of racing. He will lock heads with three other pacers on Saturday including Woodmere Ideal Art and Robert Laffin for the Ultimate Stables of Greater Lakeburn, N.B.
Thankyouallmyfans, owned by youngster Kate MacNeil, will have John Davidson catch driving this week, while K D Overdrive and Kyle Mason round out the tight group of four in the $ 1400 feature.
