Logan Park (Archangel) retook the Woodbine Mohawk Park Free For All trotting crown on Monday (Jul. 24), defeating his main harness racing rival and last weekās winner, Fashion Frenzie.
Doug McNair dropped Logan Park into the three-hole, allowing Fashion Frenzie (Louis-Philippe Roy) to take the first call in :27. Logan Park then entered the breeze down the backstretch to push by Fashion Frenzie and take the lead before the half-mile marker in :55.4.
The field remained single-file to three-quarters in 1:24.3, and the leading pair left the field behind as they entered the stretch. Fashion Frenzieās final charge amounted to little as Logan Park kept him a length adrift while sealing the victory in 1:51.4.
Warrawee Xenia (Bob McClure) edged out Adare Castle late for third.
