Two-time Breeders Crown finalist Logan Park (Archangel) returned to the track on Monday (Apr. 3) for his 2023 harness racing debut and delivered with a victory in the $32,000 Preferred-2.
Doug McNair, entrusted with the gelding for the mile, took back to fifth from the rail and watched Pikachu Hanover (Louis-Philippe Roy) take over at the quarter in :28.1 and Oney Hall (Trevor Henry) re-take in the second quarter and complete the half in :58.
McNair kicked off the long journey with Logan Park entering the final turn. The five-year-old climbed quickly first-over and was pressuring the leader to three-quarters in 1:26.3.
