Harness racing driver James MacDonald scored five wins on Thursday (Feb. 8) at Woodbine Mohawk Park including both divisions of the Blizzard Series second leg.
The reinsman brought Margosgotthecargo (Big Jim) from last to first in the first split. The filly maintained her perfect record as she set a lifetime best time of 1:54.1 in the one-and-three-quarter-length score. The sophomore, owned, bred, and trained by Andy Moore, has now earned $29,400.

Angostura Hanover (Betting Line) and MacDonald scooped the second division to set up a possible series sweep in the final. The Kyle Fellows-trained mare vaulted off second-over cover and won by three-quarters-of-a-length in 1:54. The four-year-old has won seven of 21 lifetime starts and has earned $74,592.

The $38,600 final of the series for three- and four-year-old pacing fillies and mares is set for Feb. 16.
MacDonald also won with Something Royal (Western Paradise, 1:56), Ready For Landing (Tactical Landing, 1:58.1), and Hillbilly Jet (Ponder, 1:54.1).
Woodbine Mohawk Park is set to continue racing on Friday, Feb. 9 at 7:10 p.m. The 11-race card will feature the $41,000 Snowshoe Series Final and $36,000 Fillies and Mares Preferred. So Much More, who recently won her third OāBrien Award for Older Pacing Mare, headlines the latter event.
