The reinsman brought Margosgotthecargo (Big Jim) from last to first in the first split. The filly maintained her perfect record as she set a lifetime best time of 1:54.1 in the one-and-three-quarter-length score. The sophomore, owned, bred, and trained by Andy Moore, has now earned $29,400.

Angostura Hanover (Betting Line) and MacDonald scooped the second division to set up a possible series sweep in the final. The Kyle Fellows-trained mare vaulted off second-over cover and won by three-quarters-of-a-length in 1:54. The four-year-old has won seven of 21 lifetime starts and has earned $74,592.

Woodbine Mohawk Park is set to continue racing on Friday, Feb. 9 at 7:10 p.m. The 11-race card will feature the $41,000 Snowshoe Series Final and $36,000 Fillies and Mares Preferred. So Much More, who recently won her third O’Brien Award for Older Pacing Mare, headlines the latter event.
