CHARLOTTETOWN, PE – The Marc Campbell harness racing show was in full swing on the Thursday evening (Aug. 4) card at Red Shores Racetrack and Casino at the Charlottetown Driving Park.
The Orwell-based driver made five trips to the historic winner’s circle on the night including a snappy 1:53.4 effort by Dreamfair Zenfire (Sunshine Beach) in the Fillies and Mares Preferred pace.
The $3,200 class had Atlantic Star (Mike McGuigan) put down the numbers on the front end in 27.3, 56.3 and 1:25.4 but then Dreamfair Zenfire came calling and took over in the final stanza to win by half-a-length over Share The Moment (Gilles Barrieau) and Ms Moyse (Adam Merner).
