SUMMERSIDE, PE – With a late burst of speed, Middleton Terror (Stonebridge Terror) delivered harness racing driver David Dowling’s third driving win of the night Tuesday (June 4) at Red Shores at the Summerside Raceway.
The gelding got up for a quarter-length victory in 1:58.3 in the $3,500 featured pace while nailing pacesetter Coasttocoastshark (Driven by Jaycob Sweet). Third went to Sauble Attack (Ken Murphy).
Dowling trains Middleton Terror for owners Kingsley Walsh and Frank Balcom.
Dowling had two other catch driving victories with Redland Misspretty (1:59.3) for trainer Kyle Williams and owners Rebecca Blaisdell, Brian MacGregor and Howard Anderson and with Rock The Baby (1:59.1) from the Earl Watts stable for owner Windemere Farms.
The Oakes Stable of Warren Grove doubled up with a pair of training victories. Sugar Roll (Adam Merner) had a maiden breaking score of 2:03.1 for owners Ryan and Everett MacLeod of Souris while veteran pacer Legendary Ron (Myles Heffernan Sr.) had a 2:02 front end score for owner JD Racing Inc., of Cornwall.
