Pocket sitter Bugsy Maguire (Austin Sorrie) finished second while third went to Avatar J (Gilles Barrieau). Corey Johnson trains the son of Camluck for owners Debbie Element of Village Green and Raymond Huschka of Great Britain.

MIKEY CAMDEN REPLAY

It was the first P.E.I., win for trainer Johnson, who is based out of Ontario and came East for the week.

“In P.E.I you see exactly how much harness racing means to everyone,” Johnson said after the win. “This reminds me why I get up every day to train horses. I love this horse, he’s a great horse. It’s the best feeling in the world.”

The evening also saw Tobins Brownie continue her winning ways in a $18,420 Lady Slipper Gold Division for three-year-old pacing fillies with a 1:56 score for trainer-driver Dowling.

Plain Jane won the other Gold split in 1:56.2 for trainer-driver Marc Campbell who had three driving wins on the night.

Total wager was $154,659.
