Miss Itunes (Mystery Chase) made an opening night harness racing statement at Fraser Downs with a three-and-a-quarter-length victory in the first Fillies and Mares Open of the year on Thursday (Feb. 2).
Scott Knight pushed the mare straight to the front on the heavy track, achieving that target quickly and setting a quarter time of :28.4. Miss Itunes continued to the half in :59.2 and began kicking away at three-quarters in 1:27.3. Her win was never in danger down the stretch as she cruised to a 1:56.1 clocking in her seasonal debut. Western Summit (Jim Marino) held on for second over Moosette (Bradley Watt).

Knight took the first lead of the season in the driversā standings with four victories on the nine-race program. Lancaster had a training triple.
