Mohawk Park introduces Claiming Pop-Up Series

MILTON, ON – January 18, 2023 – Woodbine Mohawk Park’s Race Office has released details for an upcoming harness racing Claiming Pop-Up Series to begin on January 30 at Woodbine Mohawk Park.

The Claiming Pop-Up will be a $22,000 to $30,000 Claiming Handicap event for pacers, featuring two $20,000 legs and a $30,000 final. A horse must race in both opening legs to be eligible to race in the series final.

The first leg will take place on Monday, January 30 and the second leg on Monday, February 6. The $30,000 final will be held on Monday, February 13.

Live racing continues every Monday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday at Woodbine Mohawk Park. Post time is 7 p.m.
