Wheels On Fire extended his top class winning streak to six on Saturday at Woodbine Mohawk Park with a wire-to-wire victory in the Campbellville, Ont. harness racing trackās $34,000 Preferred Pace.
The six-year-old gelding surged forward from the start and quickly positioned himself on the front. Driver Doug McNair oversaw fractions of :27.4, :56.3, and 1:24 and encouraged Wheels On Fire as the horse opened up on his five rivals down the stretch. Sintra (Jody Jamieson) emerged from the trailing pack, but Wheels On Fire was in control and finished off the victory in 1:50.1.
WHEELS ON FIRE REPLAY
