Oney Hall (Deweycheatumnhowe), a top-level harness racing contender at Woodbine Mohawk Park the last two seasons, strung together a second straight win on Monday (Mar. 20) and looks back on track.
The gelding pulled the trigger first but picked up cover as the field approached three-quarters. Trevor Henry showed him daylight down the lane, and Oney Hall forged to the front. He got home in 1:55, a half-length ahead of the game Tokyo Seelster (Sylvain Fillion) and White Tiger (James MacDonald) at the pylons. Duly Resolved (Paul MacDonell) was making his seasonal debut and finished fourth.
