MILTON, September 19, 2023 – The Ontario Sires Stakes (OSS) Grassroots Semi-Finals is on Thursday, September 21 at Woodbine Mohawk Park as a part of the special RCMP Musical Ride performance.
Thursday’s event will get underway with an earlier post time of 5:35 p.m.
The two-year-old Semi-Finals will be featured in races one, three, four, fix, six, seven, eight, and ten.
Thursday’s post times for the Grassroots Semi-Finals:
Race 1: 5:35 p.m.
Race 3: 6:33 p.m.
Race 4: 6:58 p.m.
Race 5: 8:30 p.m.
Race 6: 8:53 p.m.
Race 7: 9:16 p.m.
Race 8: 9:39 p.m.
Race 10: 10:25 p.m.
The three-year-olds take centre stage Friday night, competing in races one, three, four, five, six, seven, ten, and eleven.
Live racing will resume as usual with a first post time of 7:10 p.m.
Friday’s post times for the Grassroots Semi-Finals:
Race 1: 7:10 p.m.
Race 3: 8:06 p.m.
Race 4: 8:29 p.m.
Race 5: 8:52 p.m.
Race 6: 9:15 p.m.
Race 7: 9:38 p.m.
Race 10: 10:47 p.m.
Race 11: 11:10 p.m.
RCMP Musical Ride details:

- 7:00 p.m. RCMP Musical Ride performance
- 7:30 p.m. Mountie meet & greet
- Racing to follow.
The RCMP Musical Ride displays incredible coordination between horses and police officer riders performing complex drills and formations set to music.
This event is a fun time for the whole family as kids can look forward to pony rides, stations for colouring, face painting, and many other activities.
