Pass Line (All Bets Off) was put to the test but capped off her Ontario Sires Stakes Gold harness racing campaign by winning $300,000 Super Final at Woodbine Mohawk Park on Friday (Oct. 13).
The filly, who rolled a seven with the draw, charged into the first turn for Yannick Gingras and seized command just before the quarter in :26.2. She continued unopposed to the half in :55.1, but the advance of Itās a Love Thing (James MacDonald) forced a higher tempo to three-quarters in 1:23.2.
Pass Line sprinted into the stretch leading by open lengths over Odds On Platinum (Sylvain Filion) and Its A Love Thing. Odds On Platinum stuck with the leader into deep-stretch, forcing top speed from the leader, but Pass Line was untouchable and powered home to a two-and-a-half-length victory in 1:50.4.
Odds On Platinum fought on for second while Blazing Belle (Doug McNair) passed Its A Love Thing for show.

āI was blessed to have the opportunity to have a filly like this, she’s been good from day one and she ended on a good note too and she’ll be going home for the Breeder’s Crown,ā said Menary in a post-race interview.
The race was the second of eight Ontario Sires Stakes Super Finals. There are two remaining for two-year-olds on tonightās card at Woodbine Mohawk Park.
