Patriarch Hanover (Father Patrick) pulled closer to $900,000 in career harness racing earnings with a mid-level conditioned win on Monday (Aug. 12) at Woodbine Mohawk Park.
After leading to the quarter in :27.1, he and Doug McNair let Ghostly Casper (Tyler Borth) take over and sat the pocket through :56 and 1:24.4 middle panels. Special Mission (Travis Cullen) whittled away at the leader first-over and passed the baton to Patriarch Hanover at the top of the stretch. Patriarch Hanover fought on and pushed past Ghostly Casper in the last eighth of a mile to score in 1:53.2. Ghostly Casper settled for place. Mrmayor Hanover (Jonathan Drury) completed the triactor.
