Pembrook Legacy N (Bettors Delight) won his third straight at the Preferred level on Monday May 30) in the final open Preferred 2&3 Handicap Pace of the harness racing meet at The Raceway at Western Fair District.
The gelding left sharply and sprinted to the front for trainer/driver Lorne House, who managed the speed to :27.2, :57.2, and 1:25.2 splits. He turned away first-over challenger Outlawgrabbingears (Paul Davies) and paced home ahead of Racemup (Colin Kelly) and Homey Joe (Brett MacDonald) to score in 1:54.3.

The nine-year-old was a narrow winner on May 17 in lifetime-best time. He has won three in a row among Preferred company in London after six consecutive defeats. Samuel Taylor of Lucan owns the New Zealand-bred gelding, who has won 14 times and earned $113,338 in 55 lifetime tries. House has trained and driven in each of the horseās North American starts.
Tyler Borth was the eveningās top driver with three wins.
The Raceway at Western Fair Districtās meet comes to an end on Tuesday, May 31 with a 10-race card starting at 5:50 p.m. EDT. Racing will resume in London on Friday, Sep. 30, 2022. Borth and Travis Henry are two wins apart at the top of the drivers’ standings ahead of the final card; the latter has racked up 89 to the former’s 87. Tyler Nostadt has already wrapped up the training title with 49 wins, 19 clear of Cassidy Schneider. A Preferred 2&3 Handicap Pace for fillies and mares features on the last program.
