Podium Seelster earned the first harness racing win of his eight-year-old year on Saturday in the Hanover Raceway feature pace.
Colin Kelly positioned the gelding fourth through the opening quarter mile in :28.3. Leader Easy Flyer (Ryan Desroche) slowed the tempo to a :59.1 half, which prompted Bravado Seelster (Natasha Day) to activate first-over and Podium Seelster to follow his cover.
Podium Seelster tipped three-wide at three-quarters in 1:28.1 and charged after the leader on the final turn. He went by at headstretch and sprinted away to a one-and-a-quarter-length victory in 1:58.4. Easy Flyer faded to third as Release The Baby (Ross Battin) closed for place.
