Power And Grace (Holiday Road) captured the Preferred Trot at The Raceway at the Western Fair District on Tuesday (Jan. 17) against male opponents for her third harness racing victory in her past four top-level tries.
The mare, after taking the top early for Brett MacDonald, fended off first-up challenger Andy Over (Ed Hensley) through the middle half. She put him away on the final turn and kicked away down the lane to a three-length win in 2:01. Heavy Dude E (Ryan Desroche) was second. Scene A Magician (Garrett Rooney) went last-to-third.

Power And Grace has won 46 of her 142 career starts and earned $394,894. Ronald MacDonald conditions the eight-year-old for Hartel Maintenance and Lormer McClure of Guelph.
The Raceway at the Western Fair District will go again on Wednesday, Jan. 18.
