Andy Over (Andovers Son) repeated in the Preferred Handicap Trot at The Raceway at the Western Fair District on Tuesday in his 30th career harness racing victory.
The gelding raced second-over from the half and was two lengths back three-wide straightening for home. He revved his engine at the top of the stretch for Ed Hensley and stormed to the front, the held off the charging Dahlquist Hanover (Anthony Haughan) to take the 1:59.1 victory. Dahlquist Hanover as a half-length back in second, followed by Power and Grace (Brett MacDonald).
ANDY OVER REPLAY
Andy Over is now two-for-four on the season with all starts at the Preferred level. The geldingās career record improved to 30 wins and $233,792 in earnings from 158 starts. Hensley co-owns the seven-year-old with trainer Ashleigh Hensley.
So Frisky (Dali, Colin Kelly) took the nightās co-featured Fillies and Mares Preferred Handicap in a mild upset at 5-1. The mare started a first-up mission before the half and out-muscled Arizona (Tyler Borth) to take control past three-quarters. Shoot The Whiskey (Travis Cullen) chased her down the stretch, but So Frisky made it to the line a one-length winner in 1:56.1. The former finished second. Arizona was third.

So Frisky, like Andy Over, has won a pair of Preferreds from four attempts on the season. Anita Ouellette trains her for Luc Ouellette of Campbelleville, who co-bred the eight-year-old. The mare tallied her 40th career win and increased her earnings to $317,383 with the start, her 138th.
The Raceway at the Western Fair District continues racing on Tuesday, Feb. 6 with a 10-race card beginning at 5:50 p.m. EST.
