Clinton Raceway offers Sponsorship Purse Program

For the second straight season, Clinton Raceway will offer their Purse Sponsorship program.

This initiative was developed in 2021 as a way to increase harness racing purses for local horse people through sponsorship. All sponsorship funds acquired through race sponsorships, advertising, etc., were directly injected into the purses and were matched by Clinton Raceway. Sponsors along with Clinton Raceway added over $30,000 to the purses throughout the 2021 season.

“Prior to the start of the 2021 season we wanted to be able offer elevated purses to our horse people and this initiative was the key to doing so.”, said Clinton Raceway General Manager, Ian Fleming. “We would like to say thank you to our 2021 season sponsors and we look forward to the 2022 season.”

Clinton Raceway’s live racing season is slated to begin on May 22nd with a 1:30 p.m. post time. The 2022 racing season is highlighted by Legends Day, as well as the $50,000 Kin Pace, Annual Driver’s Challenge, and multiple Ontario Sires Stakes Grassroots events.
