Yoda Queen (All Bets Off) made it three consecutive harness racing victories, the first of which was her Prospect Series Final win, in a tour de force at The Raceway at the Western Fair District on Tuesday (Oct. 17).
The filly flew out from post five under orders from Andy Moore and landed herself on the lead while pacing the first quarter in :28.3. She got an easy second split, hitting the half in :58.4, and edged clear of the field on the backstretch before reaching three-quarters in 1:27.1.
Her opponents could not strike back, and Yoda Queen motored clear by seven-and-three-quarter lengths to finish the victory in 1:56.
Steadyaswego (Garrett Rooney) persisted after a first-over journey from fifth to take second. Twentyeight Late (Daryl Thiessen) was third.
