Yoda Queen (All Bets Off) added a sixth victory to her Prospect Series-winning harness racing season in a closing effort at The Raceway at the Western Fair District on Tuesday (Oct. 10).
The filly was third at the quarter in :28.3 but suffered a shuffle back to sixth as Credit Kawhi (Travis Henry) blasted forward to lead to the half in :59.4 and several rivals moved up on the outside.
Yoda Queen found her way off the pylons as the field chased Credit Kawhi to three-quarters in 1:29. She followed three-wide cover forward into the final turn, emerging from a throng of horses to go four-high as they straightened for home. Dragon Terror (Natasha Day) struck the front on the final turn, but Yoda Queen hunted her down in the stretch to take the victory in 1:59.3.
Dragon Terror was beaten by a length-and-a-half but was another length-and-a-quarter clear of show finisher No Money Honey (Austin Sorrie).
