Grand River Raceway held a nine-dash card Friday evening, and there were two splits for the third leg of the Prospect Series for three-year-old trotting colts & geldings.
Fox Valley Ontario (Muscle Mass) had the faster mile time of the two Prospect Series splits. He trotted the mile in 1:58.4 and earned his third career win in the process. The trotter is in the care of trainer Randall Fulmer and is driven by Garrett Rooney. This was Fox Valley Ontario’s first start in the Prospect Series.

Warrawee Yuri (Kadabra) won the other Prospect Series trot, wire-to-wire and posted a 2:01.1 mile time. This is the fourth win in his career, and he now has three straight wins in the Prospect Series. Warrawee Yuri has the lifetime mark of 2:00.0 which he achieved in an early leg of the Prospect Series at Mario Baillargeon was in the bike, his young trotterās win. Baillargeon has 18 wins this year in the sulky and 15 as a trainer. Warrawee Yuri was sitting second in points for the Prospect Series before this race.

The Leg 4A of the Prospect Series, three-year-old colt & gelding division is on Aug. 20 at Leamington Raceway.
Racing will return to Grand River Raceway for a very exciting Industry Day card on Aug. 7 that features the Battle of Waterloo and the Battle of the Belles. Post time is at 12:30 p.m. EDT.
