Qualifiers postponed at the Loop

The return of harness racing to Winnipeg, Manitoba, will have to wait a bit longer. Qualifiers were set to be conducted on June 10 at the Loop, but reports have indicated that it will be postponed to another date.

There has yet to be an official announcement on a revised 2023 Manitoba racing schedule, but representatives from the Loop are expected to release a statement shortly.

The opening day of racing at the Loop was scheduled for June 24, but that will likely be changed due to the postponement of qualifiers.

The Loop was slated to host 15 race days from the end of June until the end of September. Miami Fair was also set hold two race days on July 22 and 29.
