Trois-Rivieres, QC – The post-position draw for the Super Sunday Championship Finals at the Hippodrome 3R will take place live on the harness racing track’s Facebook page Wednesday (Sept. 7) at 2:00 pm.
This Sunday, Sept. 11, is Super Sunday at H3R featuring the richest day of racing in all of Quebec. More than $500,000 in total purse money featuring the Quebec-Bred Championship Finals for two and three-year-old trotters and pacers.
Fans are invited to attend the draws for the eight finals on Wednesday starting at 2:00 pm at the Taverne Racée de Québec, 815 St-Joseph-Est Street.
The draws will be broadcast live on the Hippodrome 3R Facebook page. The broadcast will be done in French.
Two-time O’Brien Award Winning driver, Louis-Philippe Roy, will be coming back to drive at H3R this Sunday in the finals. He is the breeder and co-owner of the two-year-old pacing filly, Pocahontas Du Lac, who is in the finals.
There are four finals for three-year-olds, each racing for a purse of $65,000. The two-year-olds also have four finals, each racing for a purse of $55,000.
