Racing Forthe Mark extended her winning streak to four in a thundering lifetime-best victory over Rideau Carleton Raceway conditioned harness racing foes on Thursday.
The Luc Loyer trainee got away third from the pylons but brushed to the front after a :27.4 first quarter mile. Driver Samuel Fillion controlled her speed to the half in :56.1 and three-quarters in 1:25.1 before letting her fly in the final quarter.
Racing Forthe Mark opened up on her rivals, soaring away to a 1:53.1 eight-length score. Clodam Bayama (Justin Filion) recovered from a shuffle to take second. Steelmeatreasure (Guy Gagnon) was third.
The win price was $2.30.

Racing Forthe Mark, a three-year-old Ohio-bred daughter of Racing Hill, is now six-for-16 lifetime with $21,854 in earnings. Victoria Loyer of Gatineau purchased the horse on Jun. 30.
Racing returns to Rideau Carleton Raceway on Sunday, Aug. 29 at 6:30 p.m. EDT. Two Preferred Handicaps feature on that 11-dash program.
