Two-year-old Sauble Wilson (Betterthancheddar) flew home in :26.1 for a debut harness racing victory on Tuesday (Jun. 25) at Woodbine Mohawk Park.
Bob McClure sat the homebred colt in fourth through :30.3 and 1:00.3 first-half panels set by Belmont Blazer (Travis Cullen). Sauble Wilson edged off the cones and caught cover approaching three-quarters in 1:29.2 but still had a sizable gap to abridge by the eighth pole. The colt found another gear, though, and motored to the front to win by three-quarters-of-a-length in 1:56.3. Belmont Blazer was second with Century Lucifer (Tyler Borth) rolling from last to third.

The nightās other two-year-old winner was Hey Dude (Greenshoe), driven by Jody Jamieson for trainer Carl Jamieson to a 1:59.3 performance.
