Harness racing gelding Macallan (Credit Winner) made it four from his past five with a lifetime-best equalling victory in the feature at Woodbine Mohawk Park on Tuesday.
Scott Young dropped Macallan in behind Free Willy Hanover (Jonathan Drury), who asserted himself onto the lead from post two. The latter cut the first three fractions in :27.2, :56.4, and 1:25.1, and Macallan found a gap to leave the pylons and rallied to the front to score in 1:54.1. He held off All Wrapped Up (Louis-Philippe Roy), who closed quicker but was a half-length short. Truffles Too (Trevor Henry) was third at every pole.
MACALLAN REPLAY
