CHARLOTTETOWN, PE – Securing the lead from the outside, Rollwithhottytoddy (Rollwithitharry) went straight to victory over a muddy track in the Saturday afternoon (Jan. 27) harness racing feature pace at Red Shores Racetrack and Casino at the Charlottetown Driving Park.
Myles Heffernan Sr., pointed his charge to the front in the $3,600 Preferred Pace and led through splits of 29.4, 1:00.4, 1:30.3 and 1:58.4 for Rollwithhottytoddy’s fourth straight for owner-trainer Trevor Hicken, who remains a perfect seven-for-seven from his stable in 2024. Burn Out Hanover (Driven by Brady Sweet) was second with Blood Money (David Dowling) in third.

Driver Sweet and trainer Jeff Holmes were the fired-up combination on the Saturday card as they teamed up for three winners on the day. Southfield Sandy (1:59) opened up the day for the duo to win race 1, followed by Elroy Shiner (2:00.2) in race 5 and Imalookertoo (1:57.4) closing out the program with the fastest mile of the day in race 13.
Brett Leblanc was flawless on the day as a trainer-driver had two winners from two starts. Bump In The Road (2:01.2) charged home to win race 4 for Leblanc and David Lloyd George (2:01.4) was the winner in race 8 for the New Waterford, N.S., native.
Robert Phillips had a pair of training wins on the day in line to Ken Murphy started off by Its Model Time in a 2:02.1 victory in race 2 and Pictonian I Am in a 1:59.1 score in race 3. Murphy completed a driving triple in race 6 aboard Woodmere Xspeedia (2:00.3) from the Joe Baxter barn.
The Dowling barn also scored a double with Youremyhearthrob (2:02.2) in race 10 and Tobins Brownie (2:02.4) in race 11.
