CHARLOTTETOWN, PE – It was a program order start but Share The Moment (Control The Moment) improved on her starting position to win the Saturday afternoon (Dec. 17) harness racing feature at Red Shores Racetrack and Casino at the Charlottetown Driving Park.
The $3,000 Fillies and Mares Preferred Pace saw Write One (Driven by Myles Heffernan Sr.) protect the rail through unhurried splits of 29.2 and 59.1 while the rest of the field fell in line behind her. Three-quarters were reached in 1:28 with Dreamfair Zenfire (Corey MacPherson) first-over to claim the lead then battle in a stretch, drive that saw post 3 starter Share The Moment (Gilles Barrieau) come up the inside to win in 1:56.3 at 14-1 odds, paying $30.20 for first place.

Acefortyfour Dome (Jason Hughes) rallied for second while Dreamfair Zenfire was third to complete the $152.90 triactor. Bo Ford trains the winner for owners Arnold Myers, Luke Beck, Scott Bridges and A1 Stable.
Jessicejesorjessica (Justice Hall) prevailed in the $2,600 featured trot in 1:59.1 in line to David Dowling for conditioner Jennifer Doyle, who shares ownership with Danny Birt of Earnscliffe. Doyle had a pair of wins on the day including Elm Grove Mistress (Hughes) in 1:58.3 in race 7.
Trainer Jay Noye had a training double with Dueling Banjos (Marc Campbell) in 2:01.2 in race 5 on top of a $500.60 triactor and That’s Mia Bad (Campbell) at 10-1 odds to top off a $484.60 triactor ticket in race 1.
