CHARLOTTETOWN, PE – On top at every call, Time To Dance came to play Saturday evening at Red Shores Racetrack and Casino at the Charlottetown Driving Park as part of a five-bagger for driver Marc Campbell.
Campbell pointed his trainee to the lead in the $3,200 preferred pace and rocked through splits of 27.2, 55.4 and 1:25.1 before the defending Gold Cup and Saucer champion threw down a 27.2 closing panel to scorch the oval in 1:52.3.
Time To Dance isĀ owned by Brent Campbell of Charlottetown and Matt McDonald of Edwards, Ont., and was on top of a triactor that included second place Mc Pat (Driven by Gilles Barrieau) and Avatar J (Kenny Arsenault).
Campbell’s other wins on the 11-dash card came with Disneyman (1:56.2) for trainer Ron Gass, Sock It Away (1:54.4) from the Kevin MacLean stable, Mayhem Man (1:58.2) for Jay Noye and Well Ell (1:54.1) from his own barn. Gass had a pair of winners from his Cornwall barn as Pictonian Thunder (Brodie MacPhee) also won in 1:56.3.
Trainer Alan Gregory went undefeated on the evening with The Ironman winning in 1:58.2 and Noplay was a 1:58.4 winner, both in line to Ken Murphy. Live racing continues Thursday and Saturday at Red Shores
