CHARLOTTETOWN, PE – Keeper Floored (Keeper Floored) was a popular harness racing winner while Azure Beach (Sunshine Beach) upset the tote board in eliminations of the Steven MacRae Memorial Series Saturday afternoon (Nov. 25) at Red Shores Racetrack and Casino at the Charlottetown Driving Park.
Rallying from the backfield, Azure Beach won his $3,000 MacRae Memorial elimination in 2:00 with Adam Merner driving for trainer Dwane MacEachern and owner Darla MacEachern of Summerside. Stealing Bases (Driven by David Dowling) was second ahead of race favourite Philthebank (Marc Campbell). The top four from each elimination advance to next week’s final.

Keeper Floored won the other elimination in 1:57.3 with Campbell in the bike for trainer Roger MacRae and co-owners Wendy and Christopher MacRae. Power Of Four (Ken Murphy) was second ahead of Check Your Source (Merner).

Campbell also won race 4 aboard Dukeofthewest (2:01.2) for a maiden score from the Stacey Darrach barn and race 8 with Itsuptoyou (1:57.2) for trainer Kevin MacLean and owner Reg MacPherson, Stratford, PE, for the triple.
The $3,500 Fillies and Mares Preferred Pace went to Sugar Bowl (Mark Bradley) in a pocket riding trip of 1:55.2 for trainer Jason Hughes and owners Tommy Collings and Brian MacPhee. Pacesetter Acefortyfour Dome (Hughes) was second with Chelski (Corey MacPherson) third.
Whole Nother won the $2,800 top trot class on the card in a snappy 1:58.4 victory for the three-year-old son of Nuncio. Brodie MacPhee drove for trainer and co-owner Teddy Smallwood and co-owner Ronald Peters of Stratford.
